Cloud Computing technologies have become the backbone of modern IT infrastructures. Businesses usually adopt a multi-hybrid cloud strategy to achieve optimized portfolios of cloud services provided by different vendors and avoid single vendor lock-in. Meanwhile, this strategy brings technical challenges and complexities to build, manage and operate multi-hybrid clouds. JointCloud is used to refer to but not limited to Hybrid-Cloud, Inter-Cloud, Multi-Cloud, Cloud Federation, Cross-Cloud and Cloud Service Broker (CSB) etc. The IEEE JCC 2021 aims to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange innovative ideas, latest research results, and practical experiences and lessons learned around JointCloud. The conference will be co-located with IEEE SOSE 2021, IEEE BigDataService 2021, IEEE MobileCloud 2021, IEEE DAPPS 2021 and IEEE AI TEST 2021. IEEE JCC 2021 will consist of main tracks and special tracks. All accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings which will be published by the IEEE CPS. Selected papers will be invited for extension and published in selected journals (SCI-Index).
Service-Oriented Computing exploits services as the fundamental elements of computer-based
systems. It has been applied to various areas . Consequently, a new paradigm of software and
system engineering discipline, i.e. Service-Oriented Engineering, has emerged and advanced
rapidly in the past decade. Recent advances in service oriented computing, in particular
Internet-of-Things, Industry 4.0, Edge and Fog computing, mobile and cloud computing
combined with Big Data analytics, robotics, blockchain and decentralised ledger
applications, and application of artificial intelligence and deep learning techniques, etc.,
have provided exciting opportunities to make significant progress in understanding and
solving complex real-world challenges.
Starting from 2005, SOSE is a pioneering IEEE sponsored international conference devoted to
the research in engineering service-oriented systems. It covers all aspects of
service-oriented engineering from architectures, techniques, tools and languages to
methodologies. Continuing the tradition of the last twelve editions of SOSE Symposia, the
15th SOSE intends to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange latest
observations, insights, achievements and visions in Service-Oriented System Engineering.
SOSE 2021 invites original submissions in all the areas of the system engineering and
software engineering methods, techniques, tools, applications, and experiments for
software services.
The conference also welcomes workshop proposals – seeks the submission of high-quality
papers limited to up to 10 pages (IEEE format) in length. All accepted papers will be
included in the proceedings. Selected papers will be invited for extension and published
in journals (SCI-Index)."
As computing systems become increasingly larger, more complex, distributed, and integrated,
Big Data technologies and services are ever more vital. IEEE BigDataService 2021 provides
an internationally leading forum for researchers and practitioners in academia and industry
to exchange innovative ideas and share latest results, experiences and lessons learned in
this crucial domain.
The conference will take place online on the 23rd-26th of August 2021, will be co-located
with IEEE SOSE 2021, IEEE MobileCloud 2021 and IEEE DAPPS 2021, and IEEE AITest 2021, and
will consist of a main track and special tracks.
The conference also welcomes workshop proposals – seeks the submission of high-quality
papers limited to up to 10 pages (IEEE format) in length. All accepted papers will be
included in the proceedings. Selected papers will be invited for extension and published
in journals (SCI-Index).
"The integration of mobile computing, edge, and cloud services enables new applications
that provide resources and services on an intelligent basis, process big data collected
from mobile sensors, connected vehicles, and support the Internet of things (IoT) with
massive edge and cloud-based backend. 5G technology will be a key enabler of this
integration. Such mobile applications will have tremendous impacts on many aspects of our
life, including transportation/V2X, e-commerce, healthcare, smart homes and smart cities,
social interaction, and many more.
Mobile Cloud provides a platform for researchers from academia and industry to share their
latest research ideas and results, experimental activities, and the emerging industry
technologies on mobile cloud computing, services, and engineering. Papers will be judged
based on originality, significance, clarity, relevance, and correctness.
The conference also welcomes workshop proposals – seeks the submission of high-quality
papers limited to up to 10 pages (IEEE format) in length. All accepted papers will be
included in the proceedings. Selected papers will be invited for extension and published
in journals (SCI-Index)."
dApps allow for various novel application scenarios, which are built upon distributed
consensus and thus are hard to block or censor while providing public verifiability of
peer-to-peer transactions without a trusted central party. For that, permissionless
Blockchains such as Bitcoin or Ethereum rely on an unrestricted set of participants that
run a (often time-consuming) consensus algorithm among them. In contrast, permissioned
Blockchains, such as Hyperledger Fabric, distribute trust among a restricted set of
consensus participants, a setup that can be well suited to model enterprise application
scenarios in a more scalable fashion.
IEEE DAPPS 2021 will provide a high-quality forum for participants from research and
industry. The conference will discuss key theories, algorithms, infrastructures, and
significant applications for Decentralized Applications and Infrastructures, as well as
emerging research topics.
The conference also welcomes workshop proposals – seeks the submission of high-quality
papers limited to up to 10 pages (IEEE format) in length. All accepted papers will be
included in the proceedings. Selected papers will be invited for extension and published
in journals (SCI-Index)."
Testing autonomous driving vehicles refers to a quality assurance process in which diverse
validation activities are performed based on well-defined quality assurance standards and
assessment criteria. In a quality validation process, unmanned autonomous driving vehicles
are validated at different levels (component, integration, and system) based on the
pre-defined quality requirements to assure system quality in algorithms, functions,
components, behaviors, connectivity, sensing, performance, intelligence, and
decision-making in diverse contexts and conditions. To reduce the cost and increase the
testing efficiency in the autonomous driving industry, simulation testing receives
increasing attention and effort in recent years. A high-fidelity simulation software
usually contains the mathematical representations of the environment, the dynamics of
autonomous vehicles and surrounding vehicles, the sensors models, etc., at different levels,
and is needed to facilitate the testing and development of autonomous driving systems.
In order to perform efficient simulation testing, techniques for optimizing and accelerating
testing processes are in great demand.
This challenge is set up as a platform to address this demand, and advocate the importance
and need of quality validation and automation for autonomous driverless cars. This platform
provides a global competition opportunity for international student teams and professional
teams to develop diverse simulation testing techniques and approaches in test scenario
generation and automation.
